To send SMS to home country you can either use “+” or “00” followed by country code and number, or directly send to the number without using country code. Example: to send SMS to stc number you can either send to +97333XXXXXX or 0097333XXXXXX or 33XXXXXX. To send SMS to other destinations including visited network, make sure you use “+” or “00” followed by destination country code and number.

Make sure you dial “+” or “00” followed by destination country code and number. For example, to make call to Bahrain dial 00973XXXXXXXX or +973XXXXXXX

1. try automatic selection of network When landing to your destination, switch on your network and wait for roaming network to be selected. 2. If no network is selected or you want to change operator then use manual selection to search for available networks then chose a network to connect to from search results. For manual selection of roaming operator: • Nokia On your mobile menu, select > Settings > Phone Settings > Network Selection > Manual • Sony Ericsson On your mobile menu, select > Settings > Networks > Select Network • Motorola On your mobile menu, select > Network > Available Network • Siemens On your mobile menu, select > Network Selection > Selection Mode > Manual OR On your mobile menu, select > Setup > Network > Configuration> Choose Network • Samsung On your mobile menu, select > Handset Setting > Network Service > Network Selection > Selection Mode > Manual • For other models, please follow the steps below to select our network: On your mobile menu, select > Settings or Network Selection > Available Networks > stc 3. if manual selection fail then go to SIM tool kit on you mobile and select Roaming > start Roaming, then try network selection again

Roaming service is available by default for all postpaid and prepaid customer. No special configuration or deposit is required for activating roaming service for stc customers.

Roaming service allows you to use your mobile when travelling to a foreign country. You can make and receive mobile phone calls, write text messages (SMS) or surf the internet and download content. Your calls, SMS and other data services are provided by a foreign network because your home operator does not normally operate in that country. For providing this service, the foreign network operator charges your home operator and your home operator passes this additional cost on to you

stc Credit Transfer is a service enabling Prepaid voice subscribers to transfer credit to another Prepaid voice subscriber.

They are pro rata, based on when you purchase the plan.

Service cost 35fils per transfer 

To transfer credit, the following channels are available: 1. USSD channel Type a command on your mobile screen as per below: *121*33yyyyyy*1# (1 is the amount to transfer 33yyyyyy is the destination number, to whom credit is transferred) 2. STK menu (stc Menu on your phone) Go to the STK menu->my services->free services->Credit Transfer and follow the instructions 3. SMS command Send an SMS to 121 including the following content: T MSISDN

Once credit is transferred to your account, you will receive an SMS confirming the transfer.
